Found in first and second series hobby packs, the Platinum Medallion is a 498-card parallel set. 100 first series sets and 98 second series sets were produced and each card is serially numbered in gold foil on back. Ten Platinum redemption cards for a complete Platinum series one set were in first series hobby packs. Another ten Platinum exchange cards good for a complete series two set were inserted in second series. Pictured here is a Randy Johnson in a PSA 7 copy.
